I started my first record store job in 1994, and stumbled on The Mummies shortly thereafter. In 1996 we started a band called The Deadites and bought a Cadillac hearse. We opened The Leechpit in 2003 with the express purpose of distributing Mummies records to oppressed teenagers. I have worshipped at The Mummies alter for over 20 years. I never thought this day would come. My expectations were higher than I have ever been, and they were smashed harder than I have ever been. Best. Fucking. Show. Ever… EVER…
