Another Amazing Encounter at The Leechpit

For the second day in a row we have been honored with a visit from an unsung hero of the music industry, this time from Isaac Gallegos. I first met Isaac a few months back when he came in and wiped the shop clean of our Elvis memorabilia. Well, this time he is buying some pretty cool country and/or western stuff, and we get to talking about things, like my recent obsession with the 20th century country music podcast Cocaine and Rhinestones, and he informs me that he is not only the manager of the Hank Snow Rainbow Ranch outside Nashville, Tennessee, but his buddy runs the very Ernest Tubb Record Shop covered extensively in the 1st episode of Cocaine and Rhinestones, which I cannot recommend enough, even if you only have a passing interest in country and/or western music. I repeat, Hole E. Cow it’s good!

Now, is that some crazy shit, or is that some crazy shit? Well, whether it is or it ain’t, I am secretly planning a trip to Nashville, and YOU should be secretly planning to CLICK those links!

Side note: My wife found me this magnificent Hank Snow sculpture for my birthday this year. It’s safe to say, I am a fan.
